Overview of the job
- We are recruiting for various public and private hospitals in Singapore. Every hospital has state-of-the-art facilities and you will be working together with the world class medical professionals.
- Jobs are available in various subspecialties: General Surgery, Orthopaedics Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Breast Surgery, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Urology, Colorectal Surgery, Neurosurgery, Upper Gastro-intestinal and Bariatric Surgery.
General information on the duties and responsibilities:
- Working in collaboration with multidisciplinary team / other clinicians to provide total management plan to patients under the supervision of senior medical doctors or specialists / consultants.
- Assisting specialists / consultants in the OT and ward.
- Performing other medical duties as assigned by the senior medical doctors.
Special note:
- You will not be allowed to perform any surgeries independently but to assist the consultants in the operating theatres.
Requirements:
- Hold a basic medical qualification from a reputable university.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience post-internship / housemanship.
- Proof of English proficiency if the medium of instruction for the basic medical qualification is not English.
- Pass the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable).
- Practising as a bona fide medical practitioner currently.
Terms and Package:
- 2 years non-renewable contract.
- A competitive annual package includes basic salary, housing allowance, on-call allowance, 13th-month salary & annual / performance bonus that might totalled up to SGD 72,000 – 80,000 per year.
- 24 days of annual leaves, 14 days of sick leaves, 11 days of public holidays and 60 days of hospitalisation leaves.
- Gratuity at the end of contact, subject to good performance.
- Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage.
- Relocation Allowance (reimbursement) will be given when you first join the employer.
