Overview of the job
As a Patient Service Associate, you will deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patients and visitors, with the key aim of providing excellence patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform registration and screening of patients, with accuracy and no data breach.
- Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payment on the same day.
- Ensure compliance to clinic facilities readiness, e.g., Patient waiting area and Self-Service Kiosks
- Ensure clinic is ready to serve its first patient 15 minutes before scheduled appointment time.
- Assist clinicians and/or therapists for a smooth clinic consultation.
- Ensure proper care and coordination and coordinate first/follow-up appointments for patients.
- Manage wait time and keep patients updated in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline / GCE ‘A’ / GCE ‘O’ level / Higher NITEC in any discipline/ NITEC in Service Skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to speak a second language will be an advantage.
- Good customer service skills.
- Team player with organizing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
- Strong passion to provide excellent service to the patients and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable with working in a hospital setting.
- Preferable has 2 years of experience in front-line customer service experience
